with Melancholika Vol. 2, Lithuanian artist IJO closes a circle. Audrius Vaitiekūnas's first ever album was titled Melancholika, and after exploring multiple genres and sounds over a period of 14 years, he's back where he started - submerged in atmospheric soundscapes.
Vol. 2 of Melancholika features 11 gentle, drifting compositions, armed with a comforting and immersive aura. like a woollen blanket, they surround you softly.
Melancholika Vol. 2 stands for longing, for wanting to go home, yet not knowing how to get there. Not knowing where "home" is.
